The codec packs are compatible with Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, Zoom Player, along with every other
DirectShow enabled player.
Lastly, the codec packs can be used with encoding applications to produce music and movie files in a wide range
of compressed formats.
Cole2k Media also hosts packages suited for ripping, enabling users to rip CD's to heavily compressed formats like
